Remote Full-time ~160h / Month Leadership G-Suite & Discord Mid / Senior

Minecraft Project Manager

About the Role

This role is for someone who thrives on structure, loves creative environments, and wants to help bring ambitious Minecraft projects to life. As a Project Manager at GoE-Craft, you will lead and organize multiple teams - developers, builders, artists, and testers - working in parallel on different Minecraft Marketplace projects.

You don't need to be a programmer or a builder. You need to be the person who makes sure everything flows - tasks are tracked, timelines are clear, blockers are resolved, and the team stays focused without losing its creative energy.

This is a freelance engagement with a monthly commitment of ~160h/month, and the expectation of a long-term working relationship.

What You'll Do

  • Track and organize day-to-day activities across multiple Minecraft projects
  • Set and maintain clear timelines and project documentation
  • Manage pipelines across development, building, design, testing, and publishing
  • Organize team meetings and keep everyone synchronized
  • Connect different departments and team members
  • Remove blockers and resolve issues as they arise
  • Ensure deadlines are respected and quality is maintained
  • Organize playtests and feedback sessions
  • Continuously improve processes and track team progress

What We Look For

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Experience leading teams or managing projects
  • Familiarity with project management tools (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Discord, Teams, etc.)
  • Good command of English - written and spoken
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Genuine interest in games, especially Minecraft
  • Accountability and respect for agreed deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading game dev or modding projects
  • Familiarity with Minecraft Add-Ons, scripting, or building pipelines
  • Experience with Minecraft Marketplace processes
  • Experience working with creative teams (art, dev, etc.)
  • Experience in QA or technical testing
  • Understanding of Agile methodology or similar frameworks

Working Conditions

  • 100% Remote
  • ~40 hours per week (~160 hours per month)
  • Flexible hours by agreement with the team
  • Flexible working days with occasional team coordination
  • Long-term, stable collaboration
  • Competitive rates - open to discussion
  • If you're new to freelance registration and income declaration, we'll provide support throughout the entire process

What We Offer

"Join an excellent, dynamic, and energetic team that shares a passion for game development and Minecraft."
  • Work on large-scale projects published on the official Minecraft Marketplace
  • Structured development process with clear milestones
  • Collaborative, creative, and friendly working environment
  • Room to grow and improve your PM skills on real projects
  • Clear communication and full transparency throughout the collaboration

Selection Process

Part of the process includes a test task that simulates real project work. It is designed to assess:

  • How you organize and prioritize tasks
  • Your communication style and approach to coordination
  • Your working style and attention to detail
  • Your ability to think ahead and anticipate blockers
