Minecraft Project Manager
About the Role
This role is for someone who thrives on structure, loves creative environments, and wants to help bring ambitious Minecraft projects to life. As a Project Manager at GoE-Craft, you will lead and organize multiple teams - developers, builders, artists, and testers - working in parallel on different Minecraft Marketplace projects.
You don't need to be a programmer or a builder. You need to be the person who makes sure everything flows - tasks are tracked, timelines are clear, blockers are resolved, and the team stays focused without losing its creative energy.
This is a freelance engagement with a monthly commitment of ~160h/month, and the expectation of a long-term working relationship.
What You'll Do
- Track and organize day-to-day activities across multiple Minecraft projects
- Set and maintain clear timelines and project documentation
- Manage pipelines across development, building, design, testing, and publishing
- Organize team meetings and keep everyone synchronized
- Connect different departments and team members
- Remove blockers and resolve issues as they arise
- Ensure deadlines are respected and quality is maintained
- Organize playtests and feedback sessions
- Continuously improve processes and track team progress
What We Look For
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Experience leading teams or managing projects
- Familiarity with project management tools (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Discord, Teams, etc.)
- Good command of English - written and spoken
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Genuine interest in games, especially Minecraft
- Accountability and respect for agreed deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience leading game dev or modding projects
- Familiarity with Minecraft Add-Ons, scripting, or building pipelines
- Experience with Minecraft Marketplace processes
- Experience working with creative teams (art, dev, etc.)
- Experience in QA or technical testing
- Understanding of Agile methodology or similar frameworks
Working Conditions
- 100% Remote
- ~40 hours per week (~160 hours per month)
- Flexible hours by agreement with the team
- Flexible working days with occasional team coordination
